While working on student in-house journal, Rock Writing, I was responsible for writing and designing an advertising campaign. This experience has displayed knowledge of the writing process by writing slogans and execution strategies. The flyer that was used as the only medium for advertising demonstrate proficiency in document design by its minimalistic design and use of traditional Slippery Rock colors. This experience has also exemplified defining the target   market for Rock Writing through primary market research methods like surveys and and questionnaires.

Slippery Rock University

A few other pieces I chose to include from my time at Slippery Rock University is from my   Publication Production course.  They were designed using the latest Adobe InDesign software. Under the instruction of the professor, I have significantly progressed in my document design skills to a proficient level. The overall design is polished with a twist on the traditional design of department program pamphlets, and eye-catching headings and sub-headings. While keeping true to the traditional Slippery Rock University colors, the combined use of asymmetrical and symmetrical patterns makes it stand out to the reader.   Much of this work was featured in many outlets at Slippery Rock University.
